Hello strangers! We are still in Yellowstone and alive. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the demands of civilization have not stormed their way into the gates yet, and we have been wihout phone signal for quite some time. In the meanwhile, we have been slowly moving through a neverending parade of nature's most jawdropping gifts, and I'm beginning to wonder what magical, elusive substance we both consumed in order to convince ourselves that Yellowstone could be seen in 1 day. Massive posts and picture dumps to come... until then just know we are breathing more deeply than ever before in spite of the thin air.

the pictures will be worth the wait it sounds like - the beauty of what the Minnetaree elders worshipped as the land of Mi tsi a da zi - the yellow rock river, where much was harvested but nothing was taken from, the fierce arrowheads they made from the Obsidian cliffs, et al .. enjoy every minute, the signals and posts will wait ~:
ReplyDeleteHello Lewis & Clarke, Thank you so much for the colorful observations. We know of what you speak, having witnessed the "neighborhood" years ago. We wondered if it has changed. (doubt it)
ReplyDeleteJust an observation, but someone in that vehicle has a Thesaurus !
