Jade Palace

Yesterday morning pri tricked me by telling me it was 5am when it was really 4am. After driving for a few hours we passed the "you are now entering the mountain time zone" and I swear it felt like grabbing a much needed 1-up in a video game. Though, just as in video games it made us somewhat cocky resulting in our unscheduled visit to the badlands. After that we felt kinda obligated to stop at wall drug to grab ice cream and a magnet that we later determined was not the one either of us actually wanted. I figure they have an online store though, so we can get the right one later. Also note: wall drug ice cream is terrible. As pri said, the Black Hills were beautiful. At least once we turned a corner to find a buffalo walking straight towards us. They make really funny grumbly noises. The rest can be distilled from pri's posts. We're about 2 hours out from Yellowstone and it seems like everything is getting more beautiful as we head west.
